COMING TO PERQUIMANS COUNTY, NC......

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for using alternative energy, but I'm also for respecting my neighbors.  I don't believe that just because I can do something, means that I should.  If my actions are going to destroy my neighbors property value just to make a few bucks, that's not right.  These thing will cause my neighbors property value to plummet. Their electric bill won't go down 1 penny from the electricity  being produced from these things because it is being sold to somebody, somewhere else, that won't have to see or hear these things.  So how would I be a good neighbor if I did these things to my friends? 

  For those that say they don't make noise, think about it.  These things are going to be about 600 feet tall.  I know it's hard to imagine just how tall 600 feet is, so go out to Bear Swamp, they have put up a test tower.  That thing is only about 190 feet tall.  Imagine 3 of them stacked on top of each other, that is about how tall the windmills will be.  They say the blades will only be turning about 10 revolutions per minute.  That doesn't sound so bad, but at that speed, because the blades are so long, the tips of the blades will be traveling at about 180MPH.  I'm sorry, but something that is moving through the air at 180MPH is going to make some noise.  And if you put 100's of windmills close together, you are most definitely going to hear it. 

   People need to call our County Commissioners and let them know how we feel.  So far there is only 1 that has come out totally against this, I can't believe that no others have stepped up and are willing to fight for their Friends and Neighbors.  I say the one's that won't fight this, then we need to remember them next time elections come around.

   Like I said, I'm for all types of energy, and I'm not a NIMBY when it comes to alternative energy.  If everybody in the area where these things were being put up would get a substantial benefit from one of these windmill farms, I might lean towards putting one in.  But if my Neighbors and Friends are going to be hurt, just so I can benefit a little, THAT'S NOT RIGHT......

SUPREME COURT PUTS KNIFE IN BACK OF CHRISTIANITY

The Supreme Court has put a knife in the back of Christianity with it's recent ruling on the gay marriage lifestyle.  With this ruling they have created what will be pushed as a civil right.  How can a lifestyle choice be a civil right?  Black Americans needed protection under civil rights laws because they were being persecuted because the color of their skin, the color of ones skin is not a lifestyle.  Women needed protection under civil rights laws because they too were being persecuted because of their gender, being a woman is not a lifestyle. 


Homosexuals being able to marry is a lifestyle choice.  How is that a civil right, are all lifestyle choices going to become a civil right?  Can a man marry is own son, or a mother marry her own daughter?  In our immoral and perverted world we live in today, let your imagination run wild with all the different lifestyles possible, and now they all will have the civil right to do as they please.

Once civil right status is granted to these lifestyles, what is the next step....If a gay couple wants to be married at a Church that supports Gods Law on Marriage, will they be forced to perform the ceremony?  Well, if the gay marriage lifestyle has civil rights protection, the Church will have to perform the ceremony.  If the Preacher chooses not to marry the couple, will he be arrested?  Will the Church be forced to shut its doors?

This is the ultimate goal of the gay rights movement, to shut down Christianity.  Because True Christians are standing in the way of the homosexual lifestyle.  They are not afraid to call a sin a sin.  Although the media and the gay community claim Christians hate gays, this is far from the truth.  This is just a ploy they use to get sympathy.  True Christians love all Gods people.  We don't hate other Church members that have sin in their lives, because all of us have sin in our lives, but we repent and ask for forgiveness when we do sin and try not to do it anymore, but inevitability we will sin again because we are weak in the flesh. 

So with this ruling, a knife has been put in the back of Christianity and Christianity will in the near future become illegal.  Think not, what about the businesses that were vilified or have gone out of business before this ruling.  If the gay marriage lifestyle becomes a civil right.....look out.  True Christians will be holding Church services in their basements.
