SEBELIUS: OBAMA-CARE IS A FINE?????

When Sebelius was asked, can a person choose not to have health insurance.  Her answer was yes, "but they would have to pay a FINE".....

Wait a minute, didn't the Supreme Court say that a "Fine" would be unconstitutional??  Didn't the Obama lawyers then change their argument to, oh no it's not a fine, it's a tax...

Well, why then did Sebelius call it a "FINE"....TWICE? 

You know why...because that's what it is....and she knows it, Obama knows it, and the American People HAVE know it.....

Why is it a fine?  Unlike taxes, a fine can be avoided.  

 

You receive a fine for bad behavior, like speeding, not wearing your seat belt, and for the most part, committing a criminal act.   Don't do these things and you won't get a FINE. 

Taxes on the other hand, for the most part, are involuntary.   We have to pay income taxes when we work.  We have to pay sales taxes when we buy things.  And if you try to illegally avoid paying them, you are FINED.  Now you can try to avoid paying taxes, but that would mean you not having an income or not purchasing anything.


Now with Obama-Care, if you don't do what the law says, (buying insurance) you are taxed??  Let's see, not doing what the law says, like speeding, is a FINE, not a tax.  But not doing what the law says, like buying insurance, is a tax.  Must be Liberal Logic.


And just because the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Obama-Care saying it's a Tax, doesn't mean that this ruling was wrong...after all, the Supreme Court voted 7 - 2 in favor of Slavery.



Oh and by the way, if it is a TAX, don't forget this from Obama.....
