Media compairing The Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street

Lately we have been hearing that the “Occupy Wallstreet” protesters are just like the “Tea Party.”

In the New York Times they say that “the mushrooming protests could be the start of a populist movement on the left that counterbalances the surge of the tea party on the right, and closes what some Democrats fear is an ‘enthusiasm gap’ between their party and Republicans in the 2012 election.”

Well, good luck with this band of juvenile anarchists and aging hippies occupying Wall Street.
You know what really shows how out of touch these people are.  These kids are out there and have on these T-shirts that say ‘F capitalism.’ It’s really hypocritical that they’re out there and communicating through their cell phones, I-Pads, I-Pods, etc., that were created through competition and free enterprise and CAPITALISM, the very thing they are looking to destroy.

The liberal media is always finding new ways to trash the tea party movement.  They called them “tea baggers,” which is a sexual slur. Then they were racists, they were stupid, and they were stubborn extremists whose only wish was to remove Barack Obama from office.

During a press conference, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi praised those participating in the "Occupy Wall Street" protests. "God bless them," Pelosi said, "for their spontaneity. It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, and it's focused. And it's going to be effective."

She also said, "The message of the protesters is a message for the establishment everyplace," and that "No longer will the recklessness of some on Wall Street cause massive joblessness on Main Street."
When the Tea Party movement emerged in 2009, then-Speaker of the House Pelosi called them "astroturf" and "un-American" people who were "carrying swastikas."

Let’s look at some of the comparisons.
Obeying local laws vs. 700 arrests on one day;
Understanding that the Constitution made America great vs. tearing down its fundamental principles such as property rights,
Believing in personal responsibility vs. eliminating responsibility,
Taking pride in your accomplishments vs. allowing others to do everything for you,
Celebrating success vs. penalizing it

These are just a few of the differences between the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street group. For the media to say that they are even remotely the same is just wishful thinking.

The Occupy Wall Street protesters goals are all about tearing down institutions.  They want to create a dependency on the government, to take away freedom, and blame all of their problems on others. Here are just a few of their demands,

1. Restoration of the living wage. They would probably want to see the minimum wage go up to       twenty dollars an hour.  (Having a minimum wage is one reason things cost so much.  The market should determine the minimum wage.)

2.  Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. (UnConstitutional)

3. Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.  (They think everybody should get a paycheck even if you don’t have a job…really…..who’s going to pay for that?)

4. Free college education.  (Again, who’s going to pay for it?)

5. Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all.  (Sooo, nobody has to be responsible for the commitment they made?)

First of all, these so-called Liberal Tea Party Clones are not interested in keeping our governmental system or economic system. The Tea Party wants less government, less spending and more personal freedom.

Second: the tactics they use are not AT ALL used by the real Tea Party. They seem to want to provoke a violent response.

The Tea Party changed America because it brought together people who typically don't have the time or inclination to protest.  These "self-involved" T-shirt Marxists, on the other hand, are the perfect example of how misguided and how much they have been indoctrinated into believing in the Socialistic/Marxist type of systems.
